- The Ghost platform, using my own custom theme which I based on the default Casper theme.
- Swiftype for search
- Cloudflare for DNS serviing & CDN
- Filament Flare for Sharing buttons
- Mailchimp for post distribution via email
- Zappier & IFTTT for auto-posting of new blog posts to Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- InMotion Hosting - my hosting provider
- Klout
- MeetingBurner for webinars
- The changes I made to Casper include the following:
- added a favicon
- added a slew of social buttons to the front cover page
- Added Mailchimp's pop-up sign up form
- Edited the items in the right slide-out menu
- Backports of new Casper features (such as next/prev post links) to my version of Casper
- Increase the number of words in post excerpts
- Do a gradient-style darkening of the blog's cover photo so that white text shows up better
- Changes to the footer copyright and added a link to a privacy policy
- Changes to the placement of footer text, so that the Swiftype search button doesn't block it
- Changed the styles of the swiftype search CSS, so that it shows on the bottom left (instead of right, which resulted in it not being displayed at all)
- Changed the Subscribe button in the menu to go to a page with both a Mailchimp subscription form and RSS feeds.
- Changed the "author" page to actually be an archive-style listing of the titles of all the bosts on the blog.
- Added forms stylesheet, so that mailchimp forms look better
- Add FontAwesome 4.3
Other things I added without making changes to the theme itself:
- Google Analytics
- Filament Flare sharing buttons
